OK – yesterday I was talking about learning & speaking Japanese – well today we were talking about learning & speaking English & a great Speed Learning course you can use to study English. My advice to anyone who wants to learn a foreign language is make friends from that country & learn the language by hanging out with your friends & having fun. When learning is FUN you really learn – so get out & meet people & have fun learning!!
Back at work Monday – I hope you had a good weekend? I had a very nice relaxing time hanging out with my Japanese friends – talking a lot in both English & Japanese. Today on Global Satellite we got an email request from a listener who said he wanted to hear me speak more Japanese with Sayoko.. hmmm がんばります!! But do you really want to hear my not so good Japanese? hmmm どうですか? Let me know what you think – email global@interfm.jp
Oh it’s the weekend already – a fast fun week & now a fun weekend!! Sayoko & I talked about Thai food everyday on HIS World Brunch & I’m ready to cook some Thai food at home this weekend.. hmm I think I’ll make my famous Thai salad dressing (well it’s famous with my friends who love it)
& a Thai green curry followed by dessert – tapioca & coconut milk or sticky rice pudding with fresh mango & coconut milk.. or both!! And on Guy’s Flight today I’m telling you about a French music & culture event this weekend in Tokyo – if you’d like more information please check www.institut.jp & if you want to stay at home this weekend & listen to some cool interviews & DJ mixes please check my website www.guyperryman.com Have a fun weekend!!
Everyday this week on HIS World Brunch we’re talking about Thai food – yum yum!! And as promised here is my super yummy Thai salad dressing recipe.. Mix together in a bowl or a jar a little peanut oil (or any vegetable oil), Thai fish sauce, fresh lime juice, crushed garlic, crushed chilli, chopped shallots, a little sugar & crushed peanuts. You can add more or less of the fish sauce, lime juice or sugar to create the best mix of salty, sour or sweet to suit your taste. That’s it – super simple & oishiiii – enjoy your Thai Thursday!!
