Author: Oh boy did I have fun at Fuji Rock Festival ’09!! 3 days at Naeba loving the fresh mountain air, fresh faced happy people & lot’s of fantastic music. I hope you listened to some of our live programs from the festival over the weekend – it was great fun to meet some Inter FM listeners at the official media booth – thankyou for coming by!! One of the best shows I saw was Paul Weller (classic Jam & Style Council songs) I also met Paul Weller’s 23 year old son who is a musician too & wants to make a visual kei band!! I also saw Lily Allen (very cute & cheeky), Peaches (very very cheeky & she got all the boys in the audience to take their shirts off!!), Maximo Park (power power), Royksopp (happy dancy) & Basement Jaxx (genki dancy). I was also very happy to interview Franz Ferdinand, Jet, Royksopp, Basement Jaxx, White Lies, Ebony Bones & 80 Kidz – so keep listening to Global Satellite for my FRF interviews on air soon..

It’s Thursday & we’re counting down to Fuji Rock Festival ’09!! Today on Global Satellite I am playing lot’s of FRF artists & giving you updates on the festival. After the show today I’m jumping on the shinkansen & going to Naeba – if you’re going too – see you there!! I’ll be broadcasting live from FRF tomorrow & Saturday so keep listening to Inter FM for lot’s of live cool music & reports from the festival. If you’ll be at the festival come & say hi at the Inter FM booth at the oasis food area. I’ll also interview some of the artists so listen next week for more more more fun fun fun from Fuji Rock Festival!!
While we were on the air today we looked to the skies & we saw the solar eclipse!! Did you?? A lucky star & sun & moon day today!! And tonight it’s a new moon too.. a cosmic Wednesday. Also today on Guy’s Flight I’m inviting you to a BBQ at the British Embassy. Presented by the Saint Andrews Society of Japan the BBQ is this Saturday July 25 in the gardens of the British Embassy in Hanzomon.
