Author: Oh boy did I have fun at Fuji Rock Festival ’09!! 3 days at Naeba loving the fresh mountain air, fresh faced happy people & lot’s of fantastic music. I hope you listened to some of our live programs from the festival over the weekend – it was great fun to meet some Inter FM listeners at the official media booth – thankyou for coming by!! One of the best shows I saw was Paul Weller (classic Jam & Style Council songs) I also met Paul Weller’s 23 year old son who is a musician too & wants to make a visual kei band!! I also saw Lily Allen (very cute & cheeky), Peaches (very very cheeky & she got all the boys in the audience to take their shirts off!!), Maximo Park (power power), Royksopp (happy dancy) & Basement Jaxx (genki dancy). I was also very happy to interview Franz Ferdinand, Jet, Royksopp, Basement Jaxx, White Lies, Ebony Bones & 80 Kidz – so keep listening to Global Satellite for my FRF interviews on air soon..
