The Tokyo Metropolitan Museum in Ueno is hosting the exhibition, “Vilhelm Hammershøi and Danish Painting of the 19th Century”  This art exhibition focuses on the works by Vilhelm Hammershøi, one of Denmark's most celebrated painters, who is also known as "the Vermeer of the North”. The show features 40 masterpieces including some works being showcased for the first time in Japan. The exhibition is held through Thursday, March 26th. Hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with last entry at 5 p.m.  General admission is 1,600 yen and 1,000 yen for seniors ages 65 and over. A digital stamp-rally, “TOKYO Anime Tourism 2020” event starts from February 2nd. Participants can visit various spots in Tokyo, while collecting stamps and enjoy internationally popular Japanese anime contents using an AR-based app. This year, the event is based on the world of “My Hero Academia.” The app will let you visit scenes from the anime series, and collect digital stamps and points from 11 spots around Tokyo. To participate, download the official "TOKYO Anime Tourism 2020" app from the App Store or Google Play. Start the app and collect your points from each site. When you have collected the points, go to "Tokyo Anime Center in DNP Plaza" by March 23rd, and receive original goods based on the number of points you collected. (The desk is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday, except Tuesdays.) Some items are limited in quantity and will end when the stock runs out. 日本のアニメを活用し、AR機能付アプリで都内の観光スポット等を巡るデジタルスタンプラリー「TOKYOアニメツーリズム2020」が2月2日からスタートします。今年は、人気のアニメ作品『僕のヒーローアカデミア』の世界観が楽しめる内容となっており、都内の観光スポット11ヵ所を巡ると、スポット毎に作品に登場するキャラクター等のデジタルスタンプとポイントを獲得できます。スタンプラリーへの参加方法は、専用アプリをダウンロードし、スタンプラリースポットに赴き、アプリを起動すると、スポット毎に決められたポイントを獲得できます。その獲得した累計ポイント数に応じて、オリジナルグッズがもらえます。受け取り場所は、新宿区市谷田町にある東京アニメセンター in DNPプラザで、イベント最終日の3月23日まで受け取りが可能です。なお、各グッズは限りがあるため、場合によっては在庫切れとなる可能性がありますのでご了承ください。イベント詳細は、公式ホームページ http://tokyo-animetourism.jp/ をご覧下さい。
