The number of new positive cases of Covid-19 infection in Tokyo is on a downward trend, but if we relax our measures now, it will lead to the re-spreading of the infection.

To help stop the spread of the virus, it is necessary to curb the movement of people.

We would like to ask everyone to refrain from non-essential outings both day and night.

In addition, please take all basic measures against infectious diseases, such as wearing masks, washing hands frequently and avoiding crowded places, poorly ventilated spaces and close contact with others.

Lastly, the Governor of Tokyo releases weekly reports in English on the latest COVID-19 impact and efforts in Tokyo.

Please be updated with the "The COVID-19 - Monitoring Report" streamed every Thursday at 7:15 p.m. on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Official YouTube channel.
