Since December 2019, there have been reports of pneumonia cases linked to a novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China. Cases of infection have been reported in Japan and around the world. Since February this year, the novel coronavirus has been classified as a legally designated infectious disease, affecting physician disease reporting, active epidemiological investigations and provide medical care for infected patients using public funds. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government website introduces tips for prevention, symptoms, tests and treatment, as well as frequently asked questions (FAQ) in English, Chinese, Korean and easy Japanese. A demonstration video on how to wash your hands properly to prevent infection is also provided on the website. To protect yourself from the coronavirus and to prevent the disease from spreading, please take basic disease-prevention measures, as you would for seasonal influenza, such as hand washing and observing cough etiquette.

中華人民共和国湖北省武漢市で昨年12月に新型コロナウイルス感染症の発生が報告されて以来、日本をはじめ、世界各地から報告が続いています。日本では、2月から「指定感染症」に指定され、法に基づく医師の届出、積極的疫学調査、公費による患者への医療提供などを行う対象となりました。外国版東京都ホームページでは、新型コロナウイルス感染症に関する情報を英語、中国語、韓国語とやさしい日本語でご案内しています。予防のポイント、心配な症状が出た時の対応、検査や治療など、よくあるご質問(FAQ)を掲載しています。また、感染症の正しい手洗い方法を紹介した動画もご覧いただけます。都民の皆様には引き続き、風邪やインフルエンザ対策と同様の咳エチケットや手洗いなど、基本的な感染症対策に努めていただくようお願いいたします。

While climate change is causing serious natural disasters, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has been promoting the utilization of environment-friendly hydrogen energy in many different fields. As part of these efforts, for the first time in history, hydrogen will be used for the Olympic flame and torch relay at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. For some facilities within the Athletes Village, electricity will be generated using hydrogen produced from renewable resources. The Tokyo 2020 live site venues are planning to showcase projection mapping using hydrogen energy, while Toei Bus aims to introduce up to 70 CO2-free fuel cell buses.

気候変動によって深刻な自然災害が発生している中、東京都は、環境に優しい水素エネルギーの活用を、様々な分野で進めています。その取組の一つとして、東京2020大会では、聖火台と聖火リレートーチに、大会史上初めて水素を活用します。選手村では、再生可能エネルギーから製造した水素を使って発電し、宿泊棟の一部や休憩施設で活用します。また、東京2020ライブサイトでは、水素エネルギーを使ったプロジェクションマッピングの実施や、都バスでは、走行時にCO2を排出しない燃料電池バスを最大70台導入することを目指しています。
