The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has created a 360-degree VR videos titled [Mira(i)cle] in response to the request asking to "visit the areas and see the reconstruction progress" from Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima prefectures that suffered significant damage from the Great East Japan Earthquake. These videos help those who cannot make their ways to the affected areas understand and sympathize through the simulated experience of the damages and recovery. At the same time, the videos aim to express the philosophy of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics: "Recovery Olympics and Paralympics". A video has been made for each prefecture, Iwate, Miyagi and Fukushima, and are about 2 minutes and 50 seconds long. The 360-degree VR videos [Mira(i)cle] are published and available on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s official video channel "Tokyo Douga", as well as YouTube. The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has set up a call center to answer questions from the public regarding novel coronavirus infections in English, Chinese and Korean. If you have any health-related concerns including how can you prevent the infection and what to do when concerning symptoms develop, please contact the Tokyo Metropolitan Telephone Consultation at 0570-550571. The call center is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Also, the most important way to prevent the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infections is hand-washing. Make sure to wash your hands frequently and thoroughly using soap, especially after going out or when you are coughing, and before touching your mouth, nose, or eyes. To protect those around you and to prevent the spread infection, please practice proper coughing and sneezing etiquette. A demonstration video on how to wash your hands properly to prevent infection is also provided on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government website.
