First, we have an announcement on the book "The Changing Face of Tokyo", which was published in June 2019 and has been well received. 

The English version of this book has now become available to introduce the history of Tokyo's urban development to a wider range of people around the world. 

It introduces the history of Tokyo's urban development that took place throughout the last 400 years, along with a variety of referential materials. 

The book is available at the publication sales booth in the Citizen’s Information Room located on the 3rd floor of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government No.1 Building South Tower.

この度、東京の都市づくりの歴史を海外の方にも知っていただくため、昨年6月に発行し好評を博しました「東京の都市づくりのあゆみ」の英語版を作成しました。

400年以上に渡って続いてきた東京の都市づくりの変遷を、豊富な資料と共に紹介していますので、ぜひご覧ください。

Next, we have information on video streaming intended for the prevention of wind and water disasters.

To help residents of Tokyo gain further understanding of wind and water disasters, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government has released the following two videos.

The first one is "Tokyo My Timeline Creation Navigator" with English subtitles. My Timeline is a way of preparing and planning for evacuation in the event of a wind or water disaster.

This video introduces the basics of wind and water disasters, including information on hazard maps and evacuation information, as well as a guide to creating My Timeline.

The second video is the English version of  "TOKYO VIRTUAL HAZARD: Wind and Water Disasters.”

The dangers of wind and water disasters can be experienced through the immersive VR video, which teaches viewers the proper actions to take in the event of a disaster.

These two videos are available on Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s official video channel “Tokyo Douga”, YouTube and Tokyo’s Disaster Prevention Information website.

続いて、風水害対策のための動画配信についてのお知らせです。

都民の皆さまに、風水害への理解を深めていただくため、次の2つの動画を配信しています。

1つ目は、「東京マイ・タイムライン作成ナビ」英語字幕版。

マイ・タイムラインとは、風水害が起きた際、あわてることがないよう、避難に備えた行動を、一人一人があらかじめ決めておくものです。

この動画では、ハザードマップや避難情報など風水害の基礎知識から、マイ・タイムラインの作成方法までが学習できます。

2つ目は、「TOKYO VIRTUAL HAZARD 風水害」英語版。

風水害の脅威を、臨場感あふれる映像で疑似体験でき、災害発生時にとるべき行動を学習できるVR動画です。

この２つの動画は、東京都公式動画チャンネル「東京動画」、YouTube、東京都防災ホームページで配信していますので、ぜひご覧ください。
