With exactly one year to go before the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, a special sports program "Tokyo 2020 Let's 55 (GO GO)  Event - 1 Year to Go to the Olympic Games" will be held on July 24th at Tokyo International Forum’s Outdoor Plaza and the Lobby Gallery on the basement level. This event gives everyone an opportunity to experience 22 sports and 17 events from the Olympics. Event hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free. To get to Tokyo International Forum, take the JR Line to Yurakucho Station. It’ a one-minute walk from there. 東京2020オリンピック競技大会まで1年前の節目となる7月24日(水)に、東京国際フォーラムの地上広場とロビーギャラリーでは、東京2020の競技が体験できるイベント「東京2020 Let’s 55、1年前スペシャル」を開催します。このイベントでは、オリンピック17競技、22種目を体験できます。時間は午前10時~午後6時。入場は無料です。東京国際フォーラムへのアクセスは、JR「有楽町駅」より徒歩1分です。イベントのスケジュールなど詳しくは、「東京2020」公式サイト、 をご覧ください。


Metropolitan museums in Tokyo will be hosting the "Summer Night Museum" again this year. On Friday nights, the museums will stay open until 9 p.m., allowing visitors to enjoy the exhibition in the evening. In addition to late hours, events and programs such as mini-concerts and talk shows are scheduled to take place. Summer Night Museum will be held from July 18th through August 30th, at 5 participating venues: Tokyo Metropolitan Edo-Tokyo Museum in Ryogoku, Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum in Meguro, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Ueno, Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo in Kiyosumi Shirakawa and Tokyo Photographic Art Museum in Ebisu. Summer Night Museum at Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum, Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, and Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo will start on Friday, July 26th. Tokyo Photographic Art Museum will extend its opening hours until 9 p.m. on both Thursdays and Fridays. For details on the programs, please check each museum website.
