First, we have an announcement on the non-smoking policy in Tokyo Metropolitan parks. 

While Tokyo Metropolitan parks have adopted the separation of smoking areas, there has been an increasing demand to make the parks non-smoking, following the implementation of the passive smoking prevention ordinance in April this year. 

Accordingly, starting Saturday, August 1st, all paid-entry areas of the parks will be non-smoking. 

Applicable parks are Hamarikyu Gardens, Kyu-Shiba-rikyu Gardens, Koishikawa Korakuen Gardens, Rikugien Gardens, Kyu-Iwasaki-tei Gardens, Mukojima-Hyakkaen Gardens, Kiyosumi Gardens, Kyu-Furukawa Gardens and Tonogayato Gardens.

都立庭園では、受動喫煙防止のため、園内の分煙化を進めてきましたが、今年4月に東京都受動喫煙防止条例が全面施行され、各庭園にも禁煙化の要望が寄せられるなどのニーズが高まっています。

そこで、来月8月1日土曜日から、有料公開区域を全面的に禁煙とします。

対象の庭園は、浜離宮恩賜庭園、旧芝離宮恩賜庭園、小石川後楽園、六義園、旧岩崎邸庭園、向島百花園、清澄庭園、旧古河庭園、殿ヶ谷戸庭園です。

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has raised its COVID-19 alert to the highest level. 

The number of confirmed cases is on the rise, and infections are spreading in different areas and among all age groups. 

We now need to be more cautious than ever. 

During the holiday weekend, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is asking people to take extra care with preventive measures to avoid infection, and to refrain from going out as much as possible. 

Young people in particular may be carriers of the virus while showing only mild symptoms, or none at all. 

This means they can spread the virus without knowing it. The Tokyo authorities urge them to act with care. 

Older people and people with underlying health conditions are especially at risk from more severe cases of COVID-19, and should take extra precautions. 

Don’t get infected, and don’t infect others. Taking the proper actions will help to keep COVID-19 from spreading further. Thank you for your cooperation.

続いて、新型コロナウイルス感染症対策についてのお願いです。

現在、東京都は、新型コロナウイルスの「感染拡大警報」を発しています。

感染者数の増加に加え、感染の地域的・年代的な広がりなどが見られるため、より一層、警戒する必要があります。

連休中は、感染予防・感染対策を万全にして、外出は出来るだけ控えて下さい。

若年層の方には、無症状や軽傷の方が多いため、本人が自覚しないうちに感染を拡大させていると言う恐れもあることから、十分にご注意いただいて行動してください。

また、高齢者や基礎疾患のある方は重症化のリスクがあるため、より慎重な行動をお願いします。

「感染しない・感染させない」行動の徹底が感染症の拡大防止に繋がりますので、御協力よろしくお願いします。
