Starting from October 1st, the Toei Transportation will tentatively implement "route numbering" for some Toei bus displays and bus stops, in order to make it more convenient for non-Japanese speaking customers to ride the Toei buses. The kanji part of the route name will also be displayed in alphabet. After the trial period, we will gather feedback from customers and examine its effects, to consider further expansion. The existing route names in kanji and number will remain the same. When using the Toei bus or Toden Arakawa Line, you can view the real-time service information in English on the Toei Transportation website at https://tobus.jp/

東京都交通局では、外国人のお客様に都営バスをわかりやすくご利用いただけるよう、10月1日より、都営バスの一部路線に、バス車両の行先表示器やバス停などに「系統ナンバリング」を試行的に導入します。また「系統番号」の漢字部分にはアルファベットも併記します。試行後、ご利用のお客様からご意見を募り、その効果を検証した上で、今後の導入拡大について検討いたします。なお、従来の系統番号（漢字＋数字）は変更しません。都バスや都電荒川線をご利用になる際は、東京都交通局のホームページ、https://tobus.jp/ にアクセスしていただくと、英語で運行情報をリアルタイムでご覧いただけます。
