Even when the city office is closed for the year-end and New Year holidays, family register-related registrations are handled 24 hours a day, so many people are expected to visit the office to register such matters.

During this period, administrative processing will take longer than usual, and it will take several days for certificates to be issued.

In particular, 1st January 2024 will likely see a large number of people visiting the city office to register marriages.

A waiting area will be set up, but please be aware that you may be waiting a long time to be seen.

If there are any deficiencies, you may be asked to return to the office. 

Pre-screening of registration forms is available between 8:30am and 5pm, Sunday to Friday, until Thursday 28th December.

品川区からのお知らせです。

区役所の年末年始の閉庁期間中も、戸籍の届け出は24時間受け付けを行っていることから、多くの方が戸籍の届け出に来庁することが予想されます。

この期間は、通常より事務処理に長く時間をいただくことになり、証明書類の発行までに日数をいただきます。

特に、令和6年1月1日は、非常に多くの方が婚姻の届け出に来庁される見込みです。

待合スペースはご用意しますが、受け付けまで長時間お待ちいただくことをご了承ください。

不備があった場合には、再度来庁をお願いすることもあります。

なお、12月28日（木曜日）までの日曜日～金曜日の午前8時30分～午後5時までは、届け出書の事前審査も行っていますのでご相談ください。
