Yokohama France Month 2019

PSA Yokohama
2019/06/19

'Yokohama France Month' is a French Cultural Festival that has been held every year since 2005. This year, it will be taking place until 13th July.

During the festival period, a variety of events that can be enjoyed by children  and adults alike, will be held in the city's art galleries, art spaces and restaurants etc. The events will include movies, photo exhibitions, and music and gourmet events.

The ‘Michel Ocelot “Dilili in Paris” Exhibition’ is being held at Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse No. 1 until 23rd June.

Director Michel Ocelot is a master in the field of French animation. The exhibition marks the release in Japan of his latest work, “Dilili in Paris”, and follows the production process as the unique animation is realized. Admission to the exhibition is free.

From 20th June to 5th July, Laurence Bentz will hold his first private exhibition. Bentz is from Colmar, a town in the Alsace region, which looks like it has come straight out of the pages of a picture book. His unique feel for color and his sense of humor create a fun, cute perspective of the world.

A variety of other events are also planned, including special menus at the city's restaurants and related events at art museums.
