Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

The City of Yokohama, Yokohama Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Yokohama Shopping Street Association are jointly holding the "Vaccine plus campaign” - supporting those who take the first step to prevent the spread of Covid19.

The aim is for more people - particularly from the younger generation - to consider vaccination, which will in turn prevent infection in people who, for a variety of reasons, are unable to be vaccinated.

There are two categories in the campaign: one for people who are planning to get vaccinated and one for people who have already had both shots.

Those eligible for the first category, “Vaccine Plus Gifts”, are city residents receiving their first jab between 27th October and 31st December.

A lottery will be held among those who apply from this group, with lucky winners receiving Yokohama related gifts provided by partners.

The second category, “Vaccine Plus Rewards”, is aimed at people who have already received both doses.

They are eligible for benefits and services at shops etc in Yokohama City.

Campaign organizers are still seeking new partners that can provide gifts, benefits or services, and they look forward to further participation by city residents and businesses.
