The Minato City Secretariat of the Board of Education is sending out enrollment notifications to families of children who will enroll in municipal elementary or junior high schools in April 2020. The enrollment notification must be submitted to the school, so please store it carefully. If you have yet to receive it or have lost it, please enquire.
Those eligible for notifications are as follows:
For children enrolling in the first grade of elementary school: those born between 2nd April 2013 and 1st April 2014
For children enrolling in the first grade of junior high school: those born between 2nd April 2007 and 1st April 2008.
*If you are enrolling in a national, metropolitan, or private elementary or junior high school etc, please submit your letter of acceptance (written permission). If you are a foreign national who would like to enroll in a Minato municipal elementary or junior high school and have not yet completed the necessary procedures, please enquire in Japanese.

Minato World Carnival is held by Minato City. Over 20 embassies will set up booths introducing their nation’s culture and food. There will also be stage performances featuring each country’s music and dance. It is an event where people can deepen international exchanges to feel globally connected, so please visit.
The date and time of the carnival is Sunday 29th March, from 10am - 6pm, and the venue will be Tokyo Tower.
