Counter services at the Residents Support Section of Shiba Regional City Office will be available on the last Saturday of March and the first Saturday of April, when many people move in to or out of Minato City. Opening hours will be from 8:30am to 5pm on Saturday 28th March and Saturday 4th April.
Please note that other regional city offices will remain closed.
Every Wednesday, counters at all Regional City Offices are open for the extended hours of 8:30am - 7pm. Please keep in mind that the opening hours for Daiba Annex are 8:30am-5pm.
The main items that will be dealt with during the additional opening hours are reception of notifications for moving in or out of the city or moving within it, applications for all types of certificates including the certificate of residence, seal registration, payment of residents' tax, national health insurance premiums, nursing care insurance premiums, and premiums for medical insurance for the elderly aged 75 or older, and Child Allowance applications.
There are certain procedures that cannot be dealt with, so please check the March edition of Minato Monthly or the Minato City website for details. Alternatively, enquire through Minato Call on 03-5472-3710.

Minato Municipal Libraries hold a variety of events each month. There are showings of classic movies, picture book readings and events to introduce books at each library.
On Sunday 14th March, the “Let’s Play Boardgames” event will be held at Akasaka Library, from 12:30pm. It is an event that even boardgame first-timers can enjoy, so drop by and join in the fun!
