The Spring National Traffic Safety Campaign period is Monday 6th - Wednesday 15th April.

Recently, bicycle accidents have been on the rise. Please check how to cycle safely and look over the traffic rules again, making a conscious effort to cycle safely.

April is the time when first graders start school, so there are lots of children who are not yet used to making their way to school. Drivers of cars should stop before crossings and check that there are no pedestrians.

The group rabies vaccinations which take place every year in April are cancelled to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus.

Your dog can receive a rabies vaccination at a veterinary clinic. After getting the vaccination, get a certificate from the vet that proves your dog had a rabies vaccination. You should take the certificate along with a ¥550 issuing fee to the Health and Welfare Subsection of the Residents Support Section at any Regional City Office, or the Life Hygiene Section counter at Minato Public Health Center and get a vaccination tag.

The subsection in charge at Minato Public Health Center is the Life Hygiene Counseling Subsection of the Life Hygiene Section.
