This week’s edition is on a “Recycled Furniture Fair” for people who want to buy or dispose of furniture for their new life.

For those who want to buy furniture

Minato City collects good quality furniture that is no longer needed by households in Minato City, and sells it on after cleaning it. 

Prices vary depending on the size and quality of the item.

Anyone can buy the furniture, but deliveries cost extra and will only be made within Minato City and neighboring cities. 

The recycled furniture fair will be held on the 2nd floor of Minato Resource Recycle Center, located at 5-7-1 Konan, Minato City.

For those who want to dispose of furniture

Minato City provides a service that appraises and collects free of charge, furniture that is no longer needed by households in Minato City. Please note that in some cases, the results of the appraisal may mean that it is not possible for the furniture to be collected.

Minato City introduces events and other information useful in daily life in multilingual pamphlets and leaflets.

The pamphlets and leaflets are distributed in a bag as a ‘welcome package’ to people who visit Minato City Hall to register as residents, but they are also available to read at  Multilingual Information Corners. 

Available languages are English, Korean, and Chinese.

Some materials are not available in certain languages.

The Multilingual Information Corners are located on the first floor of Shiba Regional City Office and the area in front of Counter 304 on the 3rd Floor of Minato City Hall.
