As well as providing a variety of administrative services in the local area, regional city offices aim to settle regional matters within the local community.

Minato City will open the provisionally named Minato City Children and Families General Support Center in April 2021. 

It will be located in Minami Aoyama 5 cho-me, Minato City, Tokyo. 

The center will be a complex composed of three facilities; the Children and Families Support Center, the Child Consultation Center, and the Maternal and Child Living Support Facility.

Of the three facilities, the Children and Families Support Center will have a space for child-rearing families to interact with each other, so anyone can feel free to consult about child-rearing.

For highly specialized content, it will be possible to consult with specialists, such as the Child Consultation Center’s child welfare officers, child psychologists, lawyers, doctors and public health nurses.

Minato City, where the child population is growing, will continue to support child-rearing to ensure that every family can enjoy positive parenting and to provide continuous assistance from pregnancy until the child becomes independent.
