'Peace Assembly' / International Culture Exhibition

Minato City will hold the event to think about the importance of peace with city residents. There will be activity reports from the Minato City Youth Association for Peace, and a peace memorial concert by an orchestra. The event will be an opportunity to realise anew the importance of peace, and it is hoped that a large number of people will visit. Admission is free.


The date and time of the event is Saturday 24th August, from 2pm - 4pm.

The venue will be Libra Hall at Minato Park Shibaura.


The first part of the event will consist of activity reports from the Minato City Youth Association for Peace and the second part will be the peace memorial concert.


The section in charge at Minato City Hall is the Human Rights and Gender Equality Subsection of the General Affairs Section.

A photo exhibition is being held in cooperation with the Embassy of Iceland in Tokyo.


Iceland, a small island country located in the North Atlantic Ocean, is home to the most active volcano in the world as well as the largest glacier in Europe, and is often referred to as “the land of fire and ice”. Please visit the exhibition and see the culture that is unique to this mystical country, rich in nature.


Opening hours are from 7am-11pm until Thursday 29th August, and from 7am-2pm on Friday 30th August.

The venue is the Food Garden Gallery on BF1 of the World Trade Center Building.
