‘Minato Citizens’ Festival 2019′ will be held on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October. The venue will be the whole of the Shiba Park area in Minato City, Tokyo.

At the “Kids’ Plaza” in the Municipal Shiba Park area, there will be kids’ stage performances and a garbage truck will be on display.

In the Zojo-Ji area, there will be a free consultation corner run by companies and the civil service, and on the stage in front of the Main Hall, artists such as the Minyo Girls will make an appearance.

In the Tokyo Prince Hotel area, visitors will be able to try food and alcohol from many different countries at the "World Promenade of Food and Alcohol”. There will also be the "International Friendship Square", where there will be stage events by embassies.

On Monday 14th October (national holiday), the “Minato Citizens’ Sports Festival” will be held. There will be a variety of events that visitors are free to take part in, so please enjoy sports this autumn holiday.

The National Health Insurance system is a system of mutual assistance, where the insured all pitch in by paying insurance premiums, so that they can receive help for any medical expenses that arise through illness or accidents.

Each person who subscribes to the National Health Insurance is issued with a National Health Insurance Card.

Minato City sent out new health insurance cards for the insured to heads of households at the end of August. Please use the new cards from this month. You should cut up expired health insurance cards with scissors or dispose of them in shredders. Alternatively, you can return them to your local Regional City Office.
