Minato City Local History Museum is currently holding a special exhibition called “Dolls - By People’s Sides”.
It focuses on the role of dolls: ‘to protect people, accept their wishes, entertain, and to be present’, and it introduces doll characteristics.
The exhibition centers on dolls that have a connection to Minato City.
The exhibition will be held until Sunday 5th December.
Opening hours are from 9am-5pm.
On Saturdays, the exhibition will stay open until 8pm.
The venue is Minato City Local History Museum’s Special Exhibition Room and the address is 4-6-2 Shirokanedai, Minato City.
The admission fee for the special exhibition only is ¥400 for adults, and ¥200 for elementary, junior high and high school students.
For a permanent and special exhibition ticket set, the fee is ¥600 for adults and ¥200 for elementary, junior high and high school students.
Please note that the exhibition period may change depending on the situation regarding the spread of Covid19 infections.

From Monday 11th to Wednesday 20th October, Minato City will hold the "National Regional Safety Campaign" with the 6 police stations in Minato City; Atago, Mita, Takanawa, Azabu, Akasaka, and Tokyo Bay Police Stations.
This year's slogan is "Let's protect the city we love."
The main objectives are
1 To prevent women and children from becoming crime victims .
2 To prevent damage from special fraud.
To this end, the city has some requests…
In Minato City too, calls from special fraud criminals remain rife.
Please take measures to prevent answering calls from criminals, such as by setting your phone to answering machine even when you are at home, and only answering the call once you’ve checked who the caller is.
There are many cases of fraud at ATMs, so please do not talk on your mobile phone near ATMs.
