Influenza Vaccinations for Senior Citizens / Iraq Day

Minato City offers influenza vaccinations for people aged 65 or older. Pre examination slips have been sent out to those who qualify for a flu shot. 

You should consult your doctor and get vaccinated early to prepare for the flu season.

The vaccination period is until 31st January 2020. Only one jab is required and it is provided free of charge. However, if you forget to take your pre examination slip, you will be charged for the vaccination.

Vaccinations will be carried out at designated medical facilities in Tokyo's 23 wards. For designated medical facilities in Minato City, please see the list of medical facilities that conduct Minato City vaccinations. This was enclosed with the pre examination slip.

For designated medical facilities in the 22 wards other than Minato City, please contact the section in charge of vaccinations at the relevant ward.

The section in charge at Minato City Hall is the Public Health and Disease Prevention Subsection of the Public Health and Disease Prevention Section

Iraq Day, which will be conducted in cooperation with the Embassy of Iraq in Japan, will feature Iraqi dishes and an exhibition, as well as a presentation to introduce the country. The date and time will be Saturday 19th October from 1pm-3:30pm. Reception will open at 12pm.

The venue will be Mita NN Hall inside Mita NN Building. The address is 4-1-23 Shiba, Minato City.

Admission is ¥1,000 for members of Minato International Association and ¥2,000 for non-members. There are a maximum of 120 places available on a first come first served basis.
