Minato municipal kindergartens will be putting out a call for 3, 4 and 5 year old children who meet all of the following eligibility requirements:

Those who reside in Minato City with their parent/guardian, and whose birthdays fall within these dates.

For 3 year olds, those born between 2nd April 2018 and 1st April 2019. 

For 4 year olds, those born between 2nd April 2017 and 1st April 2018. 

For 5 year olds, those born between 2nd April 2016 and 1st April 2017.

Children whose parent or guardian can take them to and from kindergarten.

Enrollment guidelines and application forms will distributed from Thursday 11th November.

They will be available at each municipal kindergarten, the Board of Education’s School Affairs Section on the 7th floor of Minato City Hall, the Citizens’ Section of each Regional City Office and the Daiba Annex.

Minato City will hold a “Coming of Age Day Gathering” in celebration of the start of adult life for people turning 20.

Those eligible to attend are Minato City residents who were born between 2nd April 2001 and 1st April 2002. 

People who have moved out of Minato City or who were enrolled in Minato municipal elementary or junior high schools can also attend if they wish to.

The event will take place on Monday 10th January 2022 (national holiday). 

Session 1 will be from noon to 1pm. Session 2 will be from 2pm to 3pm. 

As part of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the city will provide the same content twice to limit the number of participants at each session.

The venue will be Ho-oh no Ma at Tokyo Prince Hotel, located at 3-3-1 Shibakoen, Minato City.

390 places are available for each session in order of application.
