Winter Children’s Club / Human Rights Week, Lecture and Movie Showing

Minato City will hold events aimed at children during the winter holidays, so please take part.

The program is as follows:

Sunday 8th December, 11am (Takanawa Civic Center)

Puppet theatre, “The Little Round Bun”

Sunday 15th December, 2pm (Mita Library)

Puppet theatre, “The Chatty Rolled Egg”

Saturday 21st December, 2pm (Konan Library)

Movie Hour “Oshiritantei Appears”

Some events require advance booking.

The subsection in charge at Minato City Hall is the General Affairs Subsection of the Library and Cultural Assets Section.

Human Rights are rights inherent to all human beings. Everyone is entitled to them, without discrimination. Human Rights Week is held to raise public awareness of and promote respect for human rights.

A variety of educational activities are taking place across the country to mark “Human Rights Week”, which runs from 4th-10th December.

In Minato City, a lecture and movie showing will be held.

The date and time of the event will be Friday 13th December, from 1:30pm-5:10pm

The venue will be the Civic Hall at Takanawa Civic Center.

The speaker will be journalist, Yuki Ishikawa.

The title of the movie that will be shown is “Gifted”.

There is a maximum of 250 places available.

Application is not required and participation is free.

Please go directly to the venue on the day.
