School designation notifications containing information and procedures were sent out in late December 2022 to children entering Shinagawa municipal elementary, junior high, and compulsory education schools in April 2023.

Please note that "School Designation Notifications" will not be sent to those who are currently enrolled in compulsory education schools and who will advance to the 7th grade.

If you are a foreign national and wish to enter a Shinagawa municipal school, or if you plan to graduate from elementary school in March 2023 and wish to enter a Shinagawa municipal junior high school or compulsory education school, but have not yet completed the enrollment procedure, please do so as soon as possible at the Educational Affairs Section at Shinagawa City Office.

令和5年4月に、品川区立の小・中・義務教育学校に入学するお子さんに、案内や手続きを記載した就学指定通知書を、令和4年12月下旬に発送しました。

なお、現在、義務教育学校在籍の方で、7年生にそのまま進級する方には、「就学指定通知書」は送付しません。

また、外国籍の方で品川区立学校へ入学を希望する方や、令和5年3月に小学校を卒業予定で、品川区立中学校・義務教育学校へ入学を希望し、入学の手続きを行っていない方は、お早めに、品川区役所　学務課で手続きをしてください。
