The Shinagawa-ku International Friendship Association will be holding a total of four workshops designed to provide foreign residents in the area with an enjoyable opportunity to learn about Japanese culture.

The theme this time will be ‘Kintsugi’, the art of repairing broken pottery with gold.

The workshops will take place every Friday in June from 2pm to 3:30pm.

They are open to foreigners who live, work, or study in Shinagawa City.

The participation fee is 2,000 yen, and interpreting will be provided in English and Chinese.

The deadline for applications is Friday 22nd May.

品川区からのお知らせです。

品川区国際友好協会では、地域で生活する外国人の皆さんが、楽しく日本文化を理解するきっかけになる合計4回の教室を開催します。

今回のテーマは、「金継ぎ」です。

日時は、6月の毎週金曜日午後2時～3時30分までです。

対象は、品川区内在住・在勤・在学の外国人の方です。

参加費は2,000円で、英語・中国語の通訳もあります。

申込期限は、5月22日(金曜日)です。
