Shinagawa City has made the use of its municipal sports and cultural facilities free of charge for children, in order to support the learning and development of each child and to encourage their healthy growth.

The scheme applies to children up to the age of 18, who are registered as residents of Shinagawa City. They can use the facilities until 31st March of the fiscal year in which they turn 18.

Please note that to use the facilities for free, you must present the ‘Children’s Usage Fee Exemption Card’, nicknamed ‘Shinaka’, at each facility.

To obtain the card, you must apply in advance via the online application service. It takes approximately two weeks from application to delivery of the card.

品川区からのお知らせです。

品川区では、子ども一人ひとりの学びや育ちを支え、健やかな成長を応援するため、区立スポーツ施設や文化施設の子どもの使用料を無料化しました。

対象は、品川区内に住民登録のある18歳までの子どもです。18歳になった年度の3月31日まで利用することができます。

なお、無料で利用するには、各施設で「子ども使用料免除カード」、愛称「しなか」の提示が必要です。

カードを発行するには、電子申請サービスから事前に申請が必要です。申請からお手元に届くまで、およそ2週間かかります。
