School designation notifications (postcards), specifying the school to be attended and providing notice of enrollment information sessions etc. are due to be sent out in late December to children entering municipal elementary, junior high, and compulsory education schools in April 2024.

The notifications will not be sent to those who are currently enrolled in compulsory education schools and will advance into the 7th grade.

Next, information on enrollment procedures for foreign nationals.

If you are a foreign national and wish to enter a municipal school, or if you plan to graduate from elementary school in March 2024 and wish to enter a municipal junior high school or compulsory education school, but have not yet completed the enrollment procedure, please do so as soon as possible at the Educational Affairs Section.

品川区からのお知らせです。

令和6年4月に、区立の小・中・義務教育学校に入学するお子さんへ、就学する学校を指定し、入学説明会などの案内を記載した「就学指定通知書（はがき）」を、12月下旬に発送する予定です。

なお、現在、義務教育学校に在籍し、7年生にそのまま進級するお子さんには送付しません。

続いて、外国籍の方の入学手続きについてです。

外国籍で区立学校へ入学を希望する方や、令和6年3月に小学校を卒業予定で、区立中学校･義務教育学校へ入学を希望し、入学の手続きを行っていない方は、お早めに学務課で手続きをしてください。
