Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

This week’s edition is on “Yokohama Night Flowers”.

“Yokohama Night Flowers × GREEN×EXPO 2027” is a five-minute fireworks display that lights up the Port of Yokohama at night. Fireworks are launched mainly on weekends throughout the year, including in winter, creating beautiful blooms in the night sky!

Since last November, the displays have featured fireworks with a flower and greenery theme, inspired by GREENxEXPO 2027.

In February, the fireworks are being launched every weekend for five minutes from 7pm.  On Saturday 14th, the venue will be Shinko Pier, and on Saturday 21st and Saturday 28th it will be Osanbashi Pier. 

On the 21st and 28th, in addition to the theme of flowers and greenery, the fireworks displays will be based on the concepts of the "Spring Festival in Yokohama Chinatown" and the "Yokohama Spring Festival", with vibrant “red and dragon” inspired fireworks blooming brightly across the night sky over the Port of Yokohama!

Have fun exploring Yokohama while taking in the spectacular giant lantern installations set up in approximately 60 locations and the Yokohama Spring Festival Digital Stamp Rally.

Enjoy dining and shopping during the day, and in the evening, be sure to enjoy the Spring Festival collaboration fireworks display!
