This week’s edition is on ‘Shopping Street Premium Gift Vouchers’.

Applications are being accepted until Tuesday 15th September for the ‘‘Yokohama City Shopping Street Premium Gift Vouchers’, which allow great value shopping in various shopping streets across Yokohama City.

The vouchers are issued by the Yokohama City Shopping Street Federation and are electronic vouchers used via smartphones. They can be used in shopping streets throughout the city.

For every 5,000 yen purchased, you receive 6,250 yen’s worth of vouchers, saving you 1,250 yen.

The vouchers are available to people who live, work or study in Yokohama City, with a limit of six vouchers per person.

If there are a large number of applicants, a lottery will be held.

The vouchers are valid from Thursday 8th October to Friday 15th January 2027.

Other shopping streets also issue their own premium gift vouchers.
