This week's edition is on Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026.

“Garden Necklace Yokohama 2026" is an event set in the city of Yokohama that connects beautiful flowers and greenery like a necklace.

With "GREEN×EXPO 2027" coming up in a year, projects are being prepared so that a wider range of people can experience the charm of flowers and greenery.

[Event Period] 19th March - 14th June

[Venues] Minato area (Yamashita Park and the waterfront area), Satoyama Garden, Yokohama City’s 18 wards.

*Satoyama Garden will be in operation until 6th May.

Along with the scenery of the port that symbolizes Yokohama, you can enjoy the changing seasons of flowers, with tulips from early April, and roses from early May.

At Satoyama Garden, adjacent to Yokohama Zoo Zoorasia, visitors can enjoy one of the city’s largest flowerbeds, spanning 10,000 square metres, featuring nemophila, lupins and other blooms, for a limited time only.

As well as this, from 2nd May, "Yokohama Rose Week" will begin at locations including Yamashita Park and Harbor View Park, where visitors can enjoy roses, the official flower of Yokohama City, along with the scenery of Yokohama.

Also, from 2nd - 4th May, Pacifico Yokohama will be hosting the ‘Yokohama Flower & Garden Festival 2026’, one of Japan’s largest gardening events. A wide range of activities will be on offer, including show garden displays, workshops that parents and children can enjoy together, and talks by guest speakers.
