This week’s edition is on ‘Measures to combat Rising Prices’,

Yokohama City will provide electronic coupons or gift certificates worth 5,000 yen per person to residents aged 19 and over.

Those eligible are people aged 19 or over as of 1st April 2026 and who were registered as residents of Yokohama City as of 1st February 2026.

The city started sending out information postcards to eligible households sequentially in late April.

Please scan the QR code on the information postcard and select either the electronic coupon or the gift certificate. You will receive the electronic coupon immediately after applying. Applications will be accepted until Friday 31st July.

If you are an eligible household but have yet to receive an information postcard, or if you have any queries, please contact the Yokohama Living Support Coupon Call Center.

The call center also provides support in English, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Nepali, and Portuguese.

Calls will be answered from 9am - 9pm, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

From 8th June onwards, lines will close at 5pm.

If you have any concerns about the application process, please visit the consultation booths set up at ward and city offices, or the consultation sessions held at some post offices.
