Pikachu Outbreak is going to happen again this year in Yokohama’s Minato Mirai area.
This year, it features the highest number of Pikachu ever, with a blast of over 2,000 Pikachu mascots popping up in Minato Mirai area.
And Pikachu performances are much more brilliant this year.
At Grand Mall Park in front of the Yokoyama Museum of Art, Pikachu will give a light show, using state-of-the-art LED technology.
Pikachu make kawaii or adorable movements to entertain you with projection-mapped performances, using the entire surface of Yokohama Museum of Art as a backdrop.
You’ll be fascinated by the brilliant and kawaii show.
At the Red Brick Warehouse Park, Pikachu perform in collaboration with the giant fountains that’s set against the nightscape of Yokohama Bay Bridge. The biggest charm of this show would be the magical collaboration of Pikachu and splashes of water springing from the fountains into the skies.
And at the Rinko Park, you will witness the Pikachu super-outbreak with a total of 50 of them! You’ll be enjoying the largest ever grand performance there.
Thanks to their popularity last year, Pikachu and Eevee Parades are returning this year as well, so don’t miss it!

All the programs introduced today will be held in the evening hours to collaborate with the beautiful night scenery.
