Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City
10th December 2025
This week’s edition is on “Yorunoyo”.
This year too, the Illumination Spectacle in Yokohama “Yorunoyo 2025” is being held in the Yokohama urban waterfront area. This year’s theme is ‘Flowers’.
The main attraction of “Yorunoyo” is the five minute long spectacle show, “Highlight of Yokohama”, in which 46 facilities, including historical buildings and the harbour waterfront come alive in time to lights and music.
The show is being held daily, every 30 minutes between 5pm and 9pm during the event period, a total of nine times per day.
For maximum enjoyment, “Highlight of Yokohama” should be viewed from the prime location of the Osanbashi Yokohama International Passenger Terminal’s rooftop plaza.
Visitors to Osanbashi can also enjoy large-scale projection mapping of illuminated whales swimming.
Additionally, at Yamashita Park, visitors can experience an interactive digital art installation spanning 250 metres, centered around an illuminated flower monument.
Yorunoyo is being held between 5pm and 9:05pm during the period from 4th-30th December.
Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy one of the country’s largest illumination events in Yokohama, selected as one of Japan’s New Top Three Night View Cities
