Foreign children living in Shinagawa City who wish to enroll in the city’s municipal schools must fill out an application.

Those who are registered as residents will be sent application forms in late September.

For elementary schools/years 1-6 of compulsory education schools, those eligible are children born between 2nd April 2020 and 1st April 2021. For junior high schools/years 7-9 of compulsory education schools, children born between 2nd April 2014 and 1st April 2015 are eligible.

If you are not registered as a resident, or you require more information on enrollment criteria, please enquire through a Japanese speaker.

品川区内在住の外国籍のお子さんで、区立学校に入学を希望する方は、手続きが必要です｡

住民登録がある方には、9月下旬に書類を送付します。

小学校・義務教育学校前期課程は、2020年4月2日～2021年4月1日に生まれた方、

中学校・義務教育学校後期課程は、2014年4月2日～2015年4月1日に生まれた方が対象となります。

住民登録がない方や入学条件の詳細などについては、日本語が理解できる方を通じてお問い合わせください。
