Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

This week’s edition is on the “Yokohama Foreign Residents Information Center”.

The “Yokohama Foreign Residents Information Center” provides general information and consultations to foreign city residents. It is located in the Yokohama Association for International Communications and Exchanges (YOKE) in the Yokohama International Organization Center on the fifth floor of Minatomirai’s ‘Pacifico Yokohama’.

If you have concerns or would like advice about everyday life, please use the Yokohama Foreign Residents Information Center.

When visiting the center, please wear a mask, take your temperature, and use hand sanitizer.

Opening Hours

Monday - Friday: 10am - 5pm, (registration until 4:30pm)

Hours on 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month: 10am - 1pm (registration until 12:30pm)

*The center is closed on Sundays and national holidays.

Available Languages:

Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Indonesian, Tagalog, Thai, Portuguese, Spanish, and Ukrainian.

 ○ Specialist Consultations

Specialist consultations are provided free of charge, and an interpreter is available.

Please consult by telephone first.

 ○ Consultation on residency and immigration procedures (Appointment required)

(Day and Time): 1st Thursday of the month, 1pm - 4pm (45 mins per case)

 ○ Consultation on children's education (Appointment required if visiting the center)    

(Day and Time): 2nd and 4th Saturdays of month, 10am - 12:30pm

 ○ Legal Consultations (Appointment required)
