Public Service Announcement for Yokohama City

4th dose vaccinations have begun.

Yokohama City will send out vaccination tickets to over 18s who received their 3rd jab at least 5 months ago, but eligibility for 4th dose vaccinations is limited to those who are either (1) aged 60 or older, (2) aged 18-59 and have an underlying health condition or are recognized by a doctor as being at high risk of developing severe symptoms.

As a general rule, vaccination tickets will be sent out about 3 weeks before the 5 month mark since your 3rd vaccination.

The vaccination ticket this time doubles as proof of 3rd dose vaccination, so when it arrives, please check that the date of your third shot is printed correctly on the ticket and store it in a safe place even if you are not eligible for the vaccination this time around.

The reservation method for 4th dose vaccinations is the same as before, so booking online is convenient. Details are provided in the information sent with the vaccination ticket.

Reservations can be made by proxy at ward offices and post offices, so please use that service too.
