This week’s edition is on the renewal and reopening of ‘Honmoku Shimin Pool’.

‘Honmoku Shimin Pool’, which has been popular with city residents for many years since its opening in 1969, will finally reopen on Saturday 8th July.

The pool facilities consist of a variety of pools, with the main pool being a flowing pool with a waterslide.

There is also a 'toddler pool', an 'attraction pool' and a 'mountain slider', so a wide range of people from children to adults can have fun.

As well as this, night pool operation, a new endeavor held on limited days, will  create a unique atmosphere with lights, that is different from in the daytime.

There is also a barbecue and camping area on site, which can be enjoyed along with the swimming pool.

The facility is a great place to go with your family and friends throughout the year, even in seasons when the pool is not in use, as there are other activities including outdoor experiences such as kayaking and SUPing.
