As the effects of the Covid19 pandemic become prolonged, Shinagawa City will provide benefits to low income single parent child-rearing households.

Those eligible for the payment are single-parent families who raise/care for

-children under the age of 18,

-children who have turned 18 but have yet to reach the 31st March following their 18th birthday, or

-children under the age of 20 who have a disability to the extent that it’s stipulated by law.

Such families must also be eligible to receive the child-rearing allowance for April 2021, or if ineligible for the child-rearing allowance, must fit the criteria for payment of the special benefit for reasons such as a sudden drop in income.

The benefit amount per child is a uniform ¥50,000.

品川区では、新型コロナウイルス感染症による影響が長期化する中で、低所得のひとり親子育て世帯に対し、給付金を支給します。

支給対象者は、18歳に達する日以後の最初の3月31日までの児童、または、法令で定める程度の障がいのある20歳未満の児童を監護・養育するひとり親家庭のうち、令和3年4月分の児童扶養手当が支給される方や、児童扶養手当の支給が全額停止される方のうち、家計が急変されるなど支給要件に該当される方です。

給付額は、児童一人あたり一律5万円です。
