Shinagawa City is carrying out the Spring Shinagawa City Traffic Safety Campaign, "Making Tokyo the world’s Number 1 City in terms of Traffic Safety", until Wednesday 15th April.

The campaign focuses on the following four areas:

• Ensuring pedestrian safety on school routes and residential streets

• Eradicating smartphone use while driving, and improving awareness of safe driving

• Ensuring thorough understanding and compliance regarding traffic rules for bicycles and specified small motorized bicycles

•   Preventing motorcycle accidents

The city asks for your understanding and cooperation in observing traffic rules and manners.

品川区では、4月15日(水曜日)まで、春の品川区交通安全運動「世界一の交通安全都市TOKYOを目指して」を実施しています。

運動の重点は、次の4つです。

・通学路／生活道路における歩行者の安全確保

・「ながらスマホ」の根絶や安全運転意識の向上

・自転車／特定小型原動機付自転車の交通ルールの理解・遵守の徹底

・二輪車の交通事故防止
