Next, with regard to the new coronavirus infection, the most important thing right now is to prevent rebound and re-spreading of the infection.

We would like to ask everyone to refrain from non-essential outings.

When having meals together, whether in restaurants or at home, please keep meals short and limited to family members or the usual four people.

Please also wear a mask when during conversations and remove them only for eating and drinking.

Also, until April 21st, restaurants should only be open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and serving of alcoholic beverages should be limited to 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Lastly, the Governor of Tokyo releases weekly reports in English on the latest COVID-19 impact and efforts in Tokyo.
