First, we’re going to tell you about a photographic exhibition now taking place in a Tokyo subway station. To showcase the behind the scenes of Toei Transportation, a photo exhibition is being held through February 14th at Oedo Line’s “Roppongi Station”. These photo works have been taken by three photographers of Magnum Photos, the world's leading photographic agency with a history of over 70 years. In all, 67 works, including shots of the railway from inside the Toei vehicles, maintenance sites and landscapes along the Toei lines are being displayed within the station. Next time you visit Roppongi, make sure to take a look around inside one of Tokyo’s busiest station.

初めは、写真展のご案内です。都営交通の「現場」を撮影した写真展が、大江戸線「六本木駅」構内にて2月14日まで開催中です。撮影したのは、70年以上の歴史を持ち、世界で活躍する写真家集団マグナム・フォトの写真家3名。撮影場所は都営交通の車内から路線、整備場、そして、都営沿線の街並みなどを対象としています。構内のいたるところに、全67点の作品が展示されていますので、ぜひご覧ください。

Koishikawa Korakuen, one of Tokyo’s top spots for plum blossoms, is currently holding its annual festival for the flowers. This park features around 90 trees with both red and white plum blossoms. When they’re in bloom, the grounds are filled with their sweet scent. Now that the days are getting a bit warmer, this is a great chance to experience the early onset of spring. During the festival, you can try on costumes and take commemorative photos at the photo booth section and enjoy rice dumplings sold at the kitchen car. The Koishikawa Korakuen plum festival runs through Sunday, March 1st. The park is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with last entry at 4:30 p.m. Admission is 300 yen. To get there, take the Toei Oedo Line to Iidabashi Station and head out of exit C3. It’s 3 minutes walk from the station.

小石川後楽園では、今年も恒例の「梅まつり」が始まっています。園内には約90本の紅梅・白梅の梅林があり、花の見ごろには辺り一面に良い香りが漂います。日差しの暖かくなるこの時期、一足早い春の到来を告げる梅の花をお楽しみください。記念撮影コーナーでは、衣装を着て記念撮影ができるほか、キッチンカーでは、お団子も販売しています。梅まつりは、3月1日（日）まで開催中。時間は午前9時～午後5時、最終入園は4:30 となります。入園料は一般300円。アクセスは、都営地下鉄大江戸線「飯田橋駅」（C3出口）下車 徒歩3分です。
